Angle + Light is an architectural photography studio led by Nate Gillette, a licensed architect with a lifelong passion for the built environment. Based in Rockford, Michigan, we work with architects, developers, and design studios across the country to document buildings and spaces with precision and artistry.

Architecture is more than structure — it’s the interplay of form, light, and human experience. Every project we take on is approached with the same rigor and attention to detail that defines great design.

Nate brings a rare combination of technical expertise and artistic vision to every project. Trained as an Architect, he understands buildings from the inside out — the structural logic, the design intent, the interplay of space and light. That knowledge informs every image he makes.

When he’s not behind the camera, Nate is the principal of Natura Architectural Consulting, bringing the same precision and attention to detail to his consulting work.

If you’re ever looking for Nate in a crowd, look for the red Chuck Taylor All Stars. They’re his signature. People may forget the name, but they always remember the shoes.
